Your free adventure: Monster in the Woods?
Something is moving through the woods outside Bellweather.
Animals are disappearing. Huge tracks have appeared by the creek. At night, something screams.
The villagers call it a monster.
Your child has three days to determine what can be stated with strong evidence and what can’t.
During the adventure, your child will practice how to:
- Separate what they know from what they think
- Judge what the evidence actually supports
- Consider more than one possible explanation
- Change their mind when the evidence changes
- Decide what matters most
- Learn when the evidence for a conclusion is not enough
- Explain the reasons for their decision
You run the adventure. We make it easy.
You don’t need to be a teacher, game master, or expert.
The guide tells you what to reveal, when to reveal it, and what questions to ask. You don’t even need to know the answer ahead of time.
Your child gets the mystery.
You get to watch their mind go to work.
Because someday the problems won’t be part of a game.
There won’t always be an answer key—or an adult standing beside them telling them what to do.
Give them practice finding a way forward now.
